By playing Stormchaser you agree to these terms. They are written to be read.

Real-world weather and safety

Stormchaser is an entertainment game. It is not a weather radar, a forecast or safety training.Storms in the game are simplified for play, and the guides on this site are general education. Never use the game or the guides to decide how to drive, where to shelter or whether to chase a real storm. Real severe weather is life-threatening. Follow official warnings from your national weather service, and take proper spotter training before going anywhere near a storm.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher). If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission before you buy anything.

Playing fair

• No cheating, automation, exploiting bugs, or tampering with the game. Cheated results are removed and accounts may be restricted.
• No harassment, hate, spam, scams or sharing personal information in chat or names.
• One person, one account’s worth of characters as the game allows. Do not trade or sell accounts or items.

Virtual items and purchases

• Storm Shards and other items are licensed to you for use inside the game. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) before you pay. Your payment provider or bank shows any currency conversion. Purchases are processed by our payment provider.
• Before you pay, you are asked to confirm that you want your items delivered immediately and that this ends your statutory 14-day right to withdraw once delivery begins. See the refunds page for how this works and for your other rights.
• You can set a monthly spending limit for yourself in the store. Nothing in the store is a random reward.

The service

The game is provided as it is and may change. We may update, pause or retire features, run events, and reset seasons. We will try to give notice of changes that affect purchased items.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of progress or virtual items. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded (including the Australian Consumer Law and UK and EU consumer law). Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, at our choice, to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Your data in the game; your virtual items and balances are forfeited when you do. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
